Looking for a rental space to hold a gathering or party indoors? Looking for an interactive walking path for your littles? Need a shelter that can hold approximately 32-40 people? This might be the place!
Huber Heights Community Center is located at 4301 Powell Rd and features both indoor and outdoor accessible party space. Inside the facility you have two 30×60 rooms available for rent, with shared indoor restrooms and a kitchenette. Outside, in addition to the picnic shelter are two grills, and close-by playground equipment. Along the outside of the facility is a paved walking trail with interactive prompts for younger kids, or kids-at-heart, encouraging them to stop and listen for birds, to play hopscotch, to wiggle and spin. On the other side of the building is a basketball court. Future plans for this space include a native pollinator garden, and hopefully a community garden, with acres in the back for even more opportunities.
This is one of Huber Heights newest park acquisitions, and it’s still evolving.
The Huber Heights Community Center can be rented for $50.00 per room per day, with a $50.00 refundable cleaning fee. To reserve the Community Center, follow this link, which will take you to the Huber Heights City website reservation form.

This may or may not be a good thing, either way, you might want to let your Huber Heights Council know your thoughts on some of this development, so consider this a Making Your Voice Heard primer.
