Power outages happen! We recently lost power for a few hours in the evening and it put our Emergency Preparedness Equipment to the test. First thing I noticed is that I did not have enough emergency lights, or the lights I did have were so old, they were failing. Luckily we had candles, flashlights, and a camping lantern, so we managed, but it wasn’t the best. I realized I needed to find some better lanterns and lights, and lucky us! Portable lighting has vastly improved over the years. What I ultimately ended up buying was a Luci Solar Inflatable Lantern.

Whether living in a brick ranch home or apartment, you know space is a premium. Like the name implies, because this LED lantern is inflatable, when not in use, it compacts down to just 1.5″ tall and 5″ diameter- great for both storing in limited space, and carrying in a car or backpack. It’s solar powered so no need for batteries!
Traditional flashlights are notorious for having low batteries when you need them, the Luci Lantern solves that problem.

The Luci Solar Inflatable Lantern gets its light from 10 cool white LEDs which give off 75 lumens of power, and there are three brightness settings, low, medium, high, and a flashing mode. The light is bright enough to comfortably read by and throws enough light to keep a room lit in the case of a power outage. The Luci Light has a built-in solar panel which will recharge fully via solar in 7 hours, and is chargeable via USB-C within 3 hours. A USB-C charger cord is included.

If you are upgrading your Emergency Preparedness Kit, or need a great gift for Father’s Day, you are not going to go wrong with a Luci Inflatable Lantern.

Stay safe!
‘Til next time.
