This was a fun sale for me because this home had some unique issues we had to address before the sale, so I was able to learn along side the buyers. There were some zoning concerns, it was a short sale that had a “drop dead date” looming, and the home was in distressed condition. If you are wondering, the “drop dead date” is the deadline the bank gives sellers who are trying to sell via short sale. Once that date has passed, the property moves into foreclosure. We were up against that deadline, but these buyers were absolutely fearless and very smart in their approach to buying this home so everyone involved worked together to see that they were able to buy their dream home. Very sweet all the way around.
