How WPAFB and Dayton’s art community are getting things done

The Dayton Ohio region has a few things going for it that often surprise newcomers. For a city the size of Dayton, we have a vibrant arts community and some very gifted artists working here, and we have a technological powerhouse in Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, which is an R&D and logistics base. You might think those two worlds would have nothing in common, but recently WPAFB joined with a group of Dayton artists to collaborate on solving problems associated with layered sensing, information gathering, analysis and retrieval, and situational awareness.

The video below has details. The thing about Dayton is that it’s so easy to connect and network with people here. Your social circles will overlap quickly and in some delightfully surprising ways.
